About the Brigade

The Butter & Sugar Brigade is a site committed to bringing you tried-and-true recipes, with suggestions, tweaks and additions to classic recipes, and original creations developed by the Brigade itself.

The Butter & Sugar Brigade is commanded by Ally Shwed.  When not drawing comics, playing violin, or trying to teach herself French so she can someday move to Montreal, she can be found in the kitchen, experimenting with kick-ass recipes which will someday compile the menu of her own little bake shop.
